Burrata Bacon Dip

Yield: One appetizer for sharing

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. Cheese Dip Base (see recipe)
  • 1 Grande Burrata ball, cut into 3 pieces
  • 1 oz. bacon pieces, fully cooked (1/4 cup)
  • 1⁄4 oz. roasted bell pepper, diced (1 tbsp.)
  • 10 garlic Toasted crostini slices, each

Directions

  1. Portion 4 oz. Cheese Dip Base in an oiled baking dish; top with Grande Burrata, 1 oz. bacon pieces and 1/4 oz. roasted pepper.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 450°F for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted; run briefly under salamander to brown top.
  3. Serve hot accompanied with 10 crostini slices for dipping.

Cheese Dip Base Ingredients

Yield: 32 oz. (8 appetizers)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cream cheese, softened (2 cups)
  • 14 oz. Grande Mozzarella, shredded (3 1/2 cups)
  • 2 oz. Grande Parmesan, grated (1/2 cup)
  • 1 tsp. granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in bowl and mix to blend.
  2. Cover and chill to hold.
