Cuban Sandwich Pinwheel

Ingredients

  • 17 oz. Pizza dough ball, slacked
  • 9 slices Grande Provo-Nello or Deli Style Provolone
  • 8 oz. Pork, cooked and shredded
  • 8 oz. Ham
  • 20 slices Pickles
  • 4 oz. Mustard
  • 10 Pickles, diced
  • Mustard, to taste

Directions

  1. On a lightly oiled surface, stretch pizza dough to approximately 13” x 13” x 2mm thick.
  2. Place 9 slices of Grande Provo-Nello or Deli Style Provolone, keeping slices 1/4” from the edge.
  3. Top with 8 oz. pork, 8 oz. ham, 20 pickle slices and 4 oz. mustard.
  4. Roll the dough on itself making sure to seal the seam.
  5. Slice the roll into six 1.5” pieces.
  6. On a pizza pan covered with parchment paper, arrange the pinwheels, slightly pressing them to make them wider and shorter to allow for better cooking throughout the layers.
  7. Bake at 500°F for approximately 9 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
  8. Top pinwheels with 10 diced pickles and a drizzle of mustard.
