Mushroom Pizza

Yield: 12” x 12” Pizza

Ingredients

  • 17.5 oz. Pizza dough ball, slacked
  • 1 ½ oz. Olive oil
  • 7 oz. Mixed mushrooms
  • 4 oz. Onions
  • 7 oz. Grande Mozzarella Asiago Blend
  • Thyme, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Garlic, to taste
  • Grande Asiago, shaved, to taste

Directions

  1. Pour 1 ½ oz. olive oil into a 12-inch x 12-inch pan to coat the inside of the pan with oil.
  2. Place 17.5 oz. dough ball in pan, coat with oil.
  3. Push dough out to the ends of the pan and let rest for 1 hour in a warm area.
  4. Gently re-push dough out to the corners of your pan. Lightly dimple the dough with your fingertips.
  5. Drizzle olive oil to the top of the dough and par bake it for 6 minutes at 520°F.
  6. Sautee 7 oz. mixed mushrooms with olive oil, salt, garlic, black pepper and thyme and set aside.
  7. Sautee the onions with olive oil, salt and black pepper, to taste and set aside.
  8. Take the pizza out and add 7 oz. Grande Mozzarella Asiago Blend.
  9. Mix the mushrooms and 7 oz. onions together and add on top of the Grande Mozzarella Asiago Blend.
  10. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust golden/brown.
  11. Top the pizza with shaved Grande Asiago and thyme, to taste.
